Our Story
Thrive Drama has been around as an idea for many years. Jenni spent 23 years as a drama teacher (with some history teaching thrown in for fun) and has an absolute passion for theatre and performing arts.
A change of career has led to the time and space to develop Thrive Drama from a frequently talked about dream into a reality.
It is also made possible by the support and skills of the rest of the team - Alexis, Kim and Leah who each bring their own strengths to the project.
Meet the team
A fan of theatre and performance since her first lead role aged 5 (the Pied Piper of Hamlyn), and a teacher for nearly a quarter of a century, Jenni brings a vast knowledge of drama and education to this project.
Kim has a wealth of experience in education, working in special needs settings. Her love of theatre started at school and she is excited to share it with Thrive Drama kids.
Leah works in the creative and design field and is really looking forward to using her skills in a different way this summer, going back to her theatrical roots.
Alexis has a fine arts and sports background. She has worked with children in sports settings for many years and is excited to use those skills to support her creative side.
